Promote a URL

Curator defines rules and actions that are applied to a search results page. A selection of triggers are available that can execute one or more actions, such as promoting a URL to the first position of the search results for a specific query.

Let's promote a result in your search

1. Start from the Marketing dashboard, click Curator in the left hand menu

2. Click on Add new

3. Type "Applications" in the Rule Name box

5. Select Search keyword(s) contain a substring from the drop down box

6. Type "apply" in the substring box

9. In the Action Type drop down box, Select Promote results to the first positions

10. Enter the URL you wish to promote, in this case, enter https://louisville.edu/admissions/apply/

11. Remove the additional box, or enter additional URLs you wish to promote

12. Click on Add & Publish

13. In the search box at the top of the page, type "apply" and click search

14. The new URL now appears at the top of the results
